I am a self proclaimed coffee addict and Executive Director of a non profit missions agency working primarily in the Mexican cities of Oaxaca, Guadalajara, and Ensenada. I've been married for over 30 years to Chelle, and we have one grown son, Joseph, a graduate of Auburn University in Alabama.

I wonder if this phenomenon exists outside the US.
To some degree, it does in Mexico, though not quite as managed and it is dependent on your area.
Many church growth people see this type of church experience as a more "Modern" expression. As such, it will not appeal to many of the "Post Modern people we are now seeing in our churches.
I haven't gone to church since the 90's. It's a long story.
